The second in a series of four fundraisers for Artist Rights Today. Each poster/handbill is credited to the "big five" San Franciscillo poster artists: Mouse, Kelley, Moscoso, Griffin, and Wilson. 1986. what appears gray in the picture is a metallic silver. This is really the nicest poster/handbill in the series. ITOYA STAINED - but only a tiny smudge in the left margin adjacent to "Valentino" However, the back has substantial staining.
ITOYA STAINED = it got wet while in an archival art portfolio made by Itoya. The black backing sheets bled onto the art leaving dark purple stains. If the picture doesn't show much stain, then the back is probably worse. The stain can be reduced by soaking in water and rinsing several times, but this is risky, some papers may not survive at all. I can't bear to put them in the recycling bin, so here they are (search under ITOYA STAINED) as-is.
